Introduction

This page explains what GeneratorRaven does with information when you use generatorraven.com. It describes the tools we actually load and the forms we actually offer.

Data We Collect

You can use the generators without creating an account. What we see depends on how you use the site:

Usage data through Google Analytics, such as page views and technical details processed by Google
Your language choice, which the site may remember if you switch language
A list or grid preference for the generators page, if you change that view

Google AdSense

The site loads Google AdSense code on every page. That does not mean an ad is shown on every visit. When the advertising service runs, Google and other advertising partners may use cookies or other identifiers. Google AdSense may show a consent message in relevant regions so you can choose how ads use cookies and similar identifiers. Whether that message appears depends on the region and whether the advertising service is running. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used, for example which pages are opened. Google Analytics may set cookies and receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and approximate location. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or block cookies in your browser. This site does not offer a separate analytics off switch.

Cookies

If you change language, the site may remember that choice in a cookie. If you switch the generators page between list and grid, that preference can also be stored in a cookie. Google Analytics and, when it runs, AdSense may set their own cookies. Google AdSense may show a consent message in some regions so you can choose how ads use cookies. Whether that message appears depends on the region and whether the advertising service is running. You can delete or block cookies in your browser.

Contact and newsletter forms

The contact form asks for your name, email address, and message. On the live site those fields are sent to Netlify Forms so we can read the message and reply. If a newsletter sign-up is shown, it collects only an email address and also goes through Netlify Forms. We use that email to send the updates you asked for. These form fields are not the same as the text you type into a generator. If you want a message removed, use the contact page.

Data Storage

What you type into a generator stays in this browser tab while the page is open. Print and PDF export run on your device. The contact form is different: name, email, and message are sent to Netlify so we can answer you.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics, load Google AdSense code, and send contact (and, if shown, newsletter) submissions through Netlify Forms. The site is hosted so those production forms can reach Netlify. Each of those companies has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal data.

Your Rights

The law where you live may give you rights over personal data. You can contact us through the contact form, use your browser cookie settings, Google Ad Settings, and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
